Hoeveel kost een taxi?
Wanneer je je taxi bij ons reserveert, krijg je een vaste prijs vooraf. De precieze kosten hangen van een aantal dingen af.
De lengte van de rit
Natuurlijk betaal je meer voor een langere rit. Maar ons tarief per kilometer neemt af naarmate de rij-afstand toeneemt. En dat is uniek, want de meeste chauffeurs rijden op de meter en die rekent voor iedere kilometer hetzelfde bedrag. Bij Staxi ben je dus voordeliger uit dan bij andere taxibedrijven.
Het voertuigtype
Een rit met een personenwagen is goedkoper dan een rit met een taxibusje. Als je je taxi bij ons boekt, is het verschil in kosten tussen een busje en normale taxi kleiner dan wanneer je een taxi aanhoudt op straat of op een standplaats instapt. Dan rekent de chauffeur namelijk het metertarief en dat is duurder dan onze vaste tarieven.
Vraag en aanbod
Net zoals een vliegticket of hotelovernachting, kan – afhankelijk van vraag en aanbod – dezelfde rit soms duurder of juist goedkoper zijn. Bijvoorbeeld: bij extreme weersomstandigheden zoals sneeuw en ijzel neemt de vraag naar taxivervoer snel toe, waardoor de prijs ook oploopt. Dezelfde rit kan ook een stuk goedkoper zijn, bijvoorbeeld als je op een rustig tijdstip reist.

Hoe lang van tevoren moet ik de taxi reserveren?
Dat hangt af van de locatie waar je opgehaald wilt worden. Gewoonlijk is er een minimum boekingstijd van 60 minuten. In sommige gebieden is het langer en in andere korter.
